The long view
Warwickshire is a surprisingly flat county. You only get to see how flat when you get up onto one of the higher spots like the Dassett Hills. The top of the hill (it's a ridge really) is the site of former open cast mine workings and the country park here is a great photography location. The track heading off to the end of the foreground promontory doesn't seem to go anywhere beyond the abrupt long drop that you can see here, so it's not obvious why it is here.
