Day 1 of work break/ holiday / semi retirement?? (ha if only I could get paid to do all the things I want to)!! Slept 9 hours - am liking .
Wasn’t expecting snow, but it was bracing and fun to be out for a morning dog walk with Hubs and back for coffee and eggs, it rather happily appears to have morphed into another Sunday .
Waited at the stables with the reputation of sleet / wind/ snow/ sun for the horse dentist, who had to call off as delayed due to weather - quite understandable . Couldn’t do anything with horses due to wild weather so gone to warm up.
Have been volunteered for a village wellness steering group , with local GP, pharmacist, physio, nurse, therapists etc. - lovely people and great skills set, let’s hope something positive comes of it , at worst I get to chat with neighbours over free tea and biscuits, although no one opened them , all outdoing each other’s health & wellness “front” !!
