Ye Olde Grain Mill

Just around the corner in our neighborhood, stands this abandoned grain mill. It is home to at least a hundred pigeons, roosting at the very top of the grain elevator. They have the most enviable, posh penthouse view of the city skyline with the sun rising behind it each morning.

It has been rumored that a developer once proposed to convert the complex to luxury condos. Another possibilty was for the city to simply demolish it and build more office space. I would like them to consider keeping it as is...it always features new exhibits from budding graffiti artists and it has so much personality with loads of textures and grunge to feast your eyes on.
