Another day in da workhouse.

Year 9s finishing off their boxes. Once sanded and waxed the pupils have to design a logo(!) and then have it lasered onto the lid. In this case the logo had to be vectored from a pixelated (bitmap) image. In other words the pupil still had to "draw" over the image on the computer. So it wasn't a direct copy as such.

Still much to do....
Boxes to be cut open through the band saw so that a lid plus a box is resulted. Then hinges applied. Magnetic caps inserted. Possibly a mirror fixed under the lid. Little compartments maybe.

All fun....
