Anyone for a swim?

I passed Seafield, on the edge of the Firth of Forth, in the middle of a heavy sleet storm. I braved the elements to snap the waves. They actually look more inviting in the photo than they did for real - maybe it's because I'm viewing it now from the relative warmth of my study, rather than shivering my socks off on the frozen promenade.

Either way, I don't think I'll be having a dip anytime soon. Apart from the weather, this stretch of sea is right next to Edinburgh's main sewage processing plant - so it's not inviting even in mid-summer.
