Ohau canal

Really l am posting this photo because of the astonishing colour of the water. The water around here (you may have noticed it some of my earlier blips) is this colour as a result of glacier activity which has ground rocks to a very fine consistency known as rock flour.
The Ohau canal takes water from the lake to the Ohau power station.
