Blizzard

Storm Ciara may have lessened slightly yesterday, but she's back with a vengeance today - winds stronger than they were on Sunday but, bizarrely, this time no 'wind warning' has been issued by the Met Office. (Probably because we are in 'north England', as a senior politician put it, so idiotically eloquently, last week...)

Snow showers all day too. Coffee with Jacqui this morning, and I slid back home on slushy pavements. No Tai Chi this afternoon - cancelled due to the bad weather - so I joined MrM on a short walk on the Common. It started snowing as we arrived, and by the time we were half way round the path it was snowing hard. Not so bad in one direction, but it was far from pleasant walking back to the car, struggling against the wind with snow blowing in to our faces! Good to get home and warm up!
