Kathy....

My dear friend Kathy died in the early hours of this morning, quietly and peacefully.

Her family, her friends at our church and those at Women's Fellowship will miss her. I know I certainly will.

Kathy loved travelling, especially cruises. She also loved playing Bridge, all cats, reading Anne of Green Gables over and over, Scottish country dancing, gardening and so much more.  She was so proud of her daughter and her two grandchildren. And she had a fantastic sense of humour...and we laughed A LOT when we were together.

Here she is nearly four years ago when we had a special 90th birthday lunch at church for those celebrating that birthday that year. The Queen was also celebrating her 90th birthday, hence the tiara.

It's been a sad day as it always is when we lose someone dear to us. Kathy though is in that better place with her heavenly father and for that we can only be happy.
