More High Tides
A breezy day again, dull and a lot of showers. A lovely calm evening, and clear skies.
I've been working on the museum desk all day, and a fairly quiet day. We did have a rush of photographers when high tide arrived, and Hay's Dock flooded. A fairly quiet evening, some walkies with Sammy, and then off to work in the pub later.
More high tides today, but not as high as yesterday. Thankfully it's been a good earth of wind, and not too strong, so damage has been limited. The banks of the voe here burst, and the small tidal holm has almost disappeared. The sea has flooded the fields, creating a new isle to the centre left, and not far from the Arthur's house. Looking down on Longwell, from Greenmow, Cunningsburgh.
