A 'Thank You' cake for you

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the lovely comments, stars, and hearts I received for my 300th Blip yesterday - they were very much treasured & appreciated.

So I've made you all a cake to say 'Thank you'. And I'm going to be very brave and eat it all on your behalf. The sacrifices we make ...

Well, I say cake ... I was all set to go when I discovered I didn't have one grain of baking powder. So instead of Delia Smith's tried and trusted  chocolate cake I had a mad scamper to find a recipe that not only was baking powder-less, but used ingredients that I had in the cupboard.

The result is supposed to be a v. simple chocolate brownie - had the ingredients but not the required volume. So, halved everything, added cocoa powder, and guesstimated the cooking time. It might be a little on the dry side, but I've got some Green & Black's Vanilla ice cream in the freezer - warm the piece up, whack on a dollop of vanilla, should be ok!
