Clutching at straws

Still not been across the threshold, so all I've come up with is a blip of my 'coffee table' books, which don't sit on a coffee table. 

Note the out-of-date phonebook (2014 - we haven't been issued with a more recent one) and the AA book of Britain's roads (2003 - bought when it was deleted from library stock to make room for a more up-to-date one). I wouldn't put them on a coffee table, even though I personally love browsing maps and atlases.

Lots of slouching and snoozing and coughing...
