Gateway to headstones

Fairly sure I’ve blipped this before and afterwards tried to find out more about the little cemetery (failed and didn’t chase it up ....). The ground is covered in snowdrops overlooked by a beautiful Scots elm, sadly the snowdrops are looking past their best.

You can just see more headstones in the background from the old village cemetery which has a lovely view overlooking the village. A peaceful place to wander looking at names of locals from days gone by.

The hailstones continue to bombard us, it’s windy and cold. All five cats are now micro chipped, I was encouraged to do this, all pusscats came to us from Cats Protection, who cover the cost of this procedure.
