Snails

After the success of ‘The Rats’, James Herbert spent several months working on the follow up. Entitled ‘The Snails’, it was rejected by every publisher in town.

Today I discovered that James was onto something: Giant snail trails in the park. And a curious lack of humans. Coincidence or the start of the snail uprising?
