Back again!

A lovely welcome at school today, sand painting at the gate and a welcome board (in the extras) . I could get used to this.
Met up with my two favourite pupils too, pictures will follow on another day.
Today started with puri for breakfast, again I was welcomed in the restaurant like an old friend.
I realised today that one of the biggest changes in the school over the time I've been coming here (I first visited in 1997) is in the general ethos. Today I noticed that everybody seemed happy, the children are so much more engaged and enjoying what they are doing and want to show you. The demeanour of the staff, their attitude to the children, it was just lovely to see.
I only stayed part of the day today, leaving early to go and organise a mat for my bed. The mattress on the steel base has no give and it is just too hard for my ancient bones! Still the mat will be ready tomorrow and all will be well.
I'm well settled into my room, all unpacked and sorted. All I need to do now is adjust to the temperature. I've adjusted my body clock ok but the heat makes me so much more tired.
