The New Roof at Work

Dear Diary,

The new metal roof is doing its job and slowly shedding the thick blanket of frozen snow.  It is like a wave of snowy ice!  I will have to get out there with a roof rake this morning and help it along.  Looking out my window at those ice spikes aiming right at me is a bit disconcerting!  They are saying another significant snow fall is heading our way tomorrow night into Thursday.  I guess old man winter has finally arrived.
