Love

I’ve tried to take a photograph of this silver heart many many times, never manage to capture it to show it at it’s best.
( see l have also photographed the wrong side this time).
Mr P would be the first to say he is not especially romantic but he has had his moments.
One Valentines’s Day about twenty years ago he stunned me with this unique heart on a chain, more surprising because we don’t do gifts on that day.
He saw it in a jewellery shop near where he was working and said he just knew l would love it.
And loved it l did from the moment l saw it and wear it most of the time as it seems go with everything l wear.
In addition to liking how it looks it’s perfect for rubbing between my thumb and index finger over it’s smooth but uneven surface when l’m a bit stressed, often find myself doing that recently as l’ve worn it for the last 53 days without a break.
Mindful_Life has suggested the theme of something that we love or cherish, this certainly fits the bill for this old heart of mine.
