Morning run

As a result of storm Ciara yesterday, Bushy Park was still closed this morning. Penny and I had planned to go for a run in the park so we decided to go for a run along the river in Kingston instead. I had to take Gwyndaf (the little car) to the garage around the corner first for its MOT). The run was really nice and Penny said she preferred to run along the river than through the park. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky but by lunchtime, it had started to rain and by the end of the day, there were torrential downpours. I took the handbag that I had bought in Morocco to the leather shop in Richmond to fix the strap that broke last week. For dinner, Penny made chicken quesadillas for us all and shortly afterwards, Ben dropped Bibi off at Felltham for her train back to Bristol. She managed to catch an earlier train.
