Whoop! There It Is!

I knew it was coming... sooner or later. Had we not been on our way yesterday, I would have stopped to blip this scene. After the rain of the weekend, the stream at the bottom had burst its banks yesterday and spilled out over the field - probably the most we've seen in 25 years.  By today it had mainly receded and the fields had a thin layer of snow instead. Normally we see the Pentlands in front of us here and Edinburgh to the left, but they were a no show. It has continued to snow but nothing too bad.

Had it been "fluffy" snow, I would have taken the boys sledging but I think they were happy to get back in doors again!
