Back in the city and it almost feels like a relief to be here walking the streets before entering the office.
Storm still blowing through, bringing cold air and the threat of snow.
We who have a warm home or office rush, hoods up, eyes ahead, urgently heading for shelter.
The streets today seem harsh, unwelcoming. And then, if we dare to look beyond our blinkering hoods are those with no place of warmth or refuge to hurry to.
Will this city, these people, bring warmth to those most need it?

and so the work of love begins again.

(and yes this city will - these two now seen, are offered shelter for the coming nights)
