River Feshie
Into the eye of the storm up the A9 and to the road end in Glen Feshie. A wet trudge to the bothy, negotiating two rivers in spate on the way. A fine night spent in fine company. In the darkness the snow began to fall and by morning the bothy was in a winter wonderland.
The walk out was beautiful, with the regenerated juniper bushes and Caledonian pines laden with the white stuff. Thankfully the road had just been ploughed as we reached the car park and were able to return to real life without difficulty.
