Snow is falling...

...all around us.
Children playing, having fun....

Weren't we singing this one before Christmas?
Well, now we have the snow!

(I used to love Playaway and I think at the time when I used to watch it, it was aimed at a slightly younger audience than my age group, but what the heck. I also love Horrible Histories too!)

Anyhow, yes. This is through the kitchen window.

And my son's school is closed.
That's made his day!

The text came through just after 7.00 a.m. this morning informing me of the closure.
Yep, everything's done by text these days.

My mother commented that she couldn't remember her school ever being closed when she was younger due to snow.
Ah well, they didn't have Health & Safety Execs then, did they?!
