Go To Work On An Egg

Storm Ciara has passed by and has certainly caused much distress to many people. Flooding of one’s home is a very unpleasant experience for anyone and can take years to recover from. I wish the very best for all who have been affected in any way.

After a hot shower I usually prepare breakfast for myself and Patricia. It invariably features eggs in many forms.

Today’s effort is a Tortilla Español using the left over Cottage Fries from yesterday, comprising potato, ham, mushroom and peppers.

Along with coffee, orange juice, Icelandic Skyr (made in Scotland) and fruit berry muesli it is a great way to start what is still a stormy day.
