Windswept

We all had a very disturbed night last night with Ciara's strong winds rattling the letter box and rattling Bailey at the same time. He wanted to see what was going on outside at just after two but eventually took himself onto another bed to settle until the morning. 

Once we were up, we ventured out whilst it was dry but didn't go far. This shot was taken on the second walk of the day after some horizontal rain and a lessening of the wind. There was some work to be done - a bit more than I expected to have to do but it got done as well and some preparation to be away from home for a few days. I'm hoping for calmer weather for the journey north.
