Saturday with Lou

Quality time well-spent ;-) 

Lucy came over mid-morning and stayed for a few hours. I grabbed a couple of pictures while she ate her lunch. 

It was a bit grey to start off with, but then we had a beautiful blue sky day, and the light was just lovely. It's been a nice week, but I think we're in for a rubbish one with the next bloody storm that's coming. 

I had a dance lesson this afternoon. I was beginning to get a bit worried as we hadn't started any routines, but we did all four ballroom ones today, and I'm going to film them next week so I can remember them!

In the evening I went to meet up with Tim. Long story short, I sent him the "I Miss You!- Fix It" card six months ago, and heard nothing, and then out of the blue he messaged a couple of weeks back. I was more surprised than anything, and it's taken a couple of weeks to get a date in the diary. 

Actually I didn't think it was this weekend, so I felt a bit unprepared and didn't want to go. But it was really good to see him, and we had a really lovely evening out in Clapham. He's such a lovely person, and we had a good catch up. I felt so much better, and he said some lovely things about me, which given my struggles with the past and college/therapy etc, meant a lot! 

I came home feeling great, but 24 hours later the funny feelings are setting in. I think we're going to meet up again in a few weeks, and I know I'm not going to avoid contacting him, as there is no reason to feel worried about it any more. 

I'm glad I sent the card.
