Church of Jerusalem patriarch

Fener Balat is a historical area of Istanbul, was inherited by non- Muslim minorities. The orthodox patriarch is located in Fener and tone you see in picture belongs to Chruch of Jerusalem. They open it for ceremonies only on 23rd of April. Mostly Muslims visit on that day to pray, it is believed that your wishes come true and the are rumors of miracles about this church, you may believe or not.

However for me the most important thing about this church we are in same street and it is witness of history. It is said that these large ceramic jars were used for oil transportation to Jerusalem . There was a early copies of Aristo's works in its library but it was stolen too.

It is not allowed to take a picture of the church because they want to be forgotten instead of being a routine spot for burglars.
