Birthday Boy

We had planned a trip to Glasgow today for what was supposed to be a family celebration for son no 3’s 19th birthday, but things didn’t go quite to plan. Son no 2 gave up trying to travel up from Birmingham. Left there at 10am and due to get back there at 9pm tonight. Combination of trains, buses and automobiles! Son no 1 had to stay home to try and fix his laptop (needs it for his job). Mr P and I made it to Glasgow for the birthday meal (Mother India) but got blown around the M8 on the way there and had to brave torrential rain and floods on the way home. Not a birthday that we’re going to forget in a hurry!
