The Cupcake of Her Dreams

Today we took Nora, Willa, Evan and Chelsea for a ride on the "T" to Boston's North End (ground zero for all delicious things Italian!). This was the girls' first adventure on the subway system, and after an initial scare when the train squealed loudly into the station, Nora loved it.  Willa slept through the whole experience!  We then walked to Modern Pastry, famous for its delicious cannolis, cookies, and pastries.  It wasn't long before Miss Nora spied the cupcake of her dreams in the showcase, and very soon afterwards it was placed in front of her as we sat at a little table and enjoyed cappuccinos and cannolis.   Afterwards, we walked for a bit, Nora chased some pigeons, and we returned to Boston Common for a quick visit to the playground and the Frog Pond.  A very good time was had by all!
