Winter Storm!

Just like the whole of the country, we’ve been battered by Storm Ciara since 10pm last night. It’s been very mild at 13 degrees, and the rain hasn’t been quite as bad as feared, though when it did rain this afternoon it was torrential! The wind on the other hand has, and still is, making the house creak, and sending things flying around the garden. By the time the severe gales ease (not until Tuesday afternoon!), I think we may have lost some of our fence panels, but hopefully no trees.

So a day for hunkering down inside, trying in vain to fix the printer (despite the long distance help of a very kind blipper), battling with the photobook and intermittent internet, and watching the storm rage through the window...
