Bronze Memorial

We have made it back to Twizel, it has been a long day, starting at Ohope Beach, then an hours drive to Rotorua, plane to Christchurch with a stop over in Wellington. We were soon on our way back to Twizel, with a quick stop at Lake Tekapo to get this pic of the Bronze Memorial to the working dogs of the Mackenzie Basin. It was commissioned in 1968, and sits on the shore of Lake Tekapo.

I'm off home in the morning, and I will be able to catch up on all the comments I have missed out on over the last few days.
