Storm Ciara.

We have been so lucky.
The storm came and went. Strong winds, horizontal rain but no damage,
So unlike many places in West Yorkshire.
My heart goes out to those people in the Calder Valley who were flooded only a few years ago, and just getting their homes back to normal, have been flooded again.
They are still building the flood defences.
I don’t know who is to blame, but surely they should have been finished by now.

Our son and DIL were spending the weekend up in the Dales. Managed to avoid the floods on the way home, but found the house surrounded by water. Fortunately not into the house.
