His very dark materials

This is someone's idea o what the Gallivespians look like, and the one depicted is I think Chevalier Tialys who rides a specially bred type of dragonfly as indeed they all do. This perfectly matches what I think they look like. The other character (in addition to Lyra and Will) is a Ghost from the land of the dead. 
I seemed to lack energy after a decent yoga session this morning and spent most of the afternoon reading the easy bits of the paper and another chunk of the Amber Spyglass.
