Just sharing a new palette painting just finished

SEAGULLS
by Julie Duell

Gulls diving, swooping -
sweet curve of wing,
shades of grey oysters
their cries outward ring!

Hunters and scavengers -
survivors all,
hover high o'er cliff tops,
plaintive their call!

Squabbles break fleetingly
through wind and surf.
Others watch silently
assembled on turf.

Alone or in number,
their movements I trace -
flight patterns weaving
with clean lines and grace.
