Close encounters of the windy and frothy kind
Storm Ciara is upon us and producing some good waves and lots of lovely spume (froth). The main photographs shows the harbour wall at Collieston this morning and the extra the state of my car after driving to my favourite viewpoint!
I much enjoyed an extract from the BBC news site reporting on yesterday's Calcutta Cup game of rugby at between England and Scotland in Edinburgh. The match took place during high winds and heavy rain and the BBC had this to say:
"Both sides had to play in terrible conditions as Storm Ciara battered Murrayfield with ferocious winds and driving rain."
Did the BBC really think that the dastardly Scots possessed magical powers to ensure that only the English would be battered by the tempest?
