Mum

My three cousins and myself are meeting up in Glasgow on 16 February and Hazel my cousin nearest in age to me from Troon asked if I had some old photos of her mum and Dad, both deceased as she didn’t have many.

Out came the old photos and found quite a few she can have.

I love looking at them.  I can hardly comprehend that in that looking at these photos it’s my mum and dad being young and carefree having much fun with their friends.  I love how they are so dressed up compared to nowadays for just a time spent walking a socialising.  How smart they looked with little money.  Def no trousers with the backside hanging down to the knees LOL!!

I picked these two out for myself to photograph and process a bit - my mum was in her late teens in the main pic looking beautiful.  I see nothing of my facial looks here but body shape wise, I inherited that.  Meanwhile in the group photo with my dad top right I see myself and my brother.

Been some structural damage in Perth city centre with the storm bringing down a chimney on to an adjoining property which was a bar.  Luckily no one was hurt.
