Cheeky Kookaburra

Sunday has been a wonderful rest day with lots of reading, a bit of painting and small odd jobs around the place which have been annoying me have finally been done! :o)

Late afternoon we headed to our old riverside walk on the Maylands Peninsula and this beautiful Kookaburra and his mate were having a bit of an argument with a pair of Magpies!  The Magpies did their best to get rid of the Kookas, but the Kookas won!  This one looked so pleased with himself and when you see the extras you’ll understand why! : )
