Family

My sister wanted to have a family day because recently a niece died suddenly and there was no funeral.  I still can't get my head around that decision.  Those of us in Christchurch today sat  in her garden and spent time together.  The little girls in the middle are my great, great nieces.  They are very soon going to have a baby brother.  Their grandparents and great grandmother are visiting from England and will be here to greet the newest member of the family.  The wee girls had their own picnic of strawberries, blueberries and grapes on the blanket.  They played with sticks and picked flowers and it was relaxed gathering.  My sister is much the same and will see a specialist in a weeks time.
