Accepting Dollars

This shop at the local market means well by telling all who can read that they accept American dollars, but I'm afraid those who need to use them rather than pesos won't be able to understand the Spanish which kind of defeats the purpose of taking U.S. money. This sign does, however, point to a change in our community. It was only a few years ago that most businesses would only accept pesos. Now, many take credit cards and some, like this establishment, are accepting U.S. dollars.
