A long day of travelling

So after all the rushing around yesterday, we got up and moved the last of the stuff into the Motorhome before finally getting on the road around 11.

An easy enough journey to Gretna where we stopped off at the Outlets for a quick wander and a stretch of the legs. Whilst there I got the text and email I had been expecting, that our ferry tomorrow night was cancelled due to the storm.
A quick phone call to the ferry company and we are rebooked via Caen. Back to the Motorhome for lunch and got 2 sites booked for our overnight stops in France - the power of the internet. I’ve cancelled our stop in Zaragoza and we will still reach Barcelona as planned on the 12th.

We then continued to Birmingham - nothing much to report other than the weather was pretty windy and a bit wet and we had an unexpected detour when the SatNav threw a bit of a wobbly but we got here and set up easily.

Dinner over and looking forward to a relaxing? nights sleep before we head to Portsmouth in the morning.
