sunshine and soothing music

it was WARM today. 55 degrees. that is warm.

i did a lot of sitting and thinking today.

after church i went to lake michigan and sat in the sand. i listened to the sound of ice cracking and melting accompanied by the sound of water running. it was beautiful. really beautiful.

then i went over to vinces. i messed around with my camera and tried to take photos of him for his band: bigcitysomeone ive never tried portraits before, but it was fun to explore. we shall see how they turn out.

but the best part of today was sitting on a bench in the sun. not really talking, mostly just listening to vince play guitar. it was so peaceful. i was immensely content. then i realised that this is how summer will be. enjoying and embracing beauty.

it is and it shall be glorious. i am very blessed. very, very blessed.
