Wasted corn

This corn field near my home hasn't been harvested. I just can't figure out why.
Well, it provides a blip, so at least it's had a goal now.

It's been a lazy quiet Saturday. I slept rather late (almost 09.00); Daan played a football match and Bas is in Apeldoorn today , with his athletics club. He's doesn't participate in the competition because of his knee injury, but he's cheering them on from the sideline. We just received a message that all that games are over and they are now on their way to the MacDonalds.

On a sidenote: Today will be the 24th day I'll close all the rings on my watch.
