Punchbowl, Crosthwaite

We had a late night (for us) with our neighbours G&C.  A good evening.  This meant we woke up late - so much so that it felt like New Year's Day.

Plans to go to Kendal before midday went out of the window and so we went out for lunch to celebrate Santana's birthday earlier this week.  We hadn't been for a while and it was lovely.  Less is more.  Loved the drive over there and appreciated the scenery as we haven't seen it for a couple of weeks.
