The Library

Perched on top of the hill overlooking Gokarna is this Library. I pass it every day where it is half hidden in a neglected garden and assumed it was abandonned. Today I went in. It was full of books and empty of people except for a cleaner washing the floors and a man arranging some of the books. There were lots of French and a few English, German and Russian paperbacks. I didn't see any books in the local language. I took a book out. No need for a stamp, the rather surly man arranging books said I just needed to show it to him.
