Awaiting The Sunrise

During the darker months of the year, opportunities seldom arise for such a beautiful start to the day and so they must be grasped. Here I was on an early morning bike ride despite the temperature hovering close to freezing. I'd planned to venture out even earlier but the prospect of the potential combination of slender tyres and unseen ice in the dark was somewhat off-putting to say the least.
