Beetling About

........ somebody else enjoying the sunshine....... while I'm too busy to :-/

.........but I did manage a ten minute tea break in the garden....... it was chilly but nice in the sun :-)

My heating is playing up ....... I noticed at about 4.30pm that it was rather chilly in the house and went to turn up the thermostat a little...... no response!!
We have a contract with British Gas so I tried to ring them ....... their helpline is now incredibly infuriating......it's an automated voice that you have to 'talk ' to, grrrrrrr. It eventually offered me a breakdown appointment on 13th FEBRUARY!!!!!!......nearly a week away!!!!! ......NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!
I eventually managed to persuade it it that I wanted to talk to a human and got put on hold for half an hour .......and then got cut off, GRRRRR
I gave up and in desperation phoned a nice young man who installed a kitchen tap for us a while ago ..........amazingly he said he would call in on his way home from the job he was on .......brilliant :-))
Five minutes before he knocked on the door the heating turned itself on again ........very embarrassing!! but fortunately he was ok about it

......... I'm just hoping it's a one off....... oh, and yes, we will be cancelling our home care agreement with British Gas !!!!
