Goosed

Not really but I may well have been if I had turned my back on him!
Spent an hour or so watching different ducks on the former sand quarry near me. The female smew was busy diving at the far side. Lovely pochard and wigeon close by. My feet were numb on the frosty grass so cut short my planned time for photos at the next stop but not before the resident geese checked out feeding potential. They are a cheeky bunch.
Home to thaw out and then off for a walk round Tittesworth reservoir and a little stop at a hide where my friend and I added a willow tit, reed bunting and oystercatcher to our lists.
