Incy Wincy Spider

Em came to visit us today (pictured) which was lovely, especially as it broke up the weekend for us, home alone.

And Audrey LOVED her!! She was such an angel and seemed to almost want to join in on our girly conversations, chattering away to herself with her toys, breaking off occasionally to grin at Em or I.

And Emma was brilliant with her. Despite trying to teach her Everton football songs (which we will overlook!) it turns out Emma is well versed in all the nursery rhymes. She was word perfect on Audrey's favourite - Incy Wincy which got Audrey's vote (and mine).

Had my alltime favourite bathtime tonight too. Audrey was in such a loving and playful mood, touching my face and trying to talk to me as I dried her in her fluffy towel. It is normally a race to get her to bed as she gets so cranky after her bath but tonight she was happy to play. If this starts to happen more, maybe we could read to her before bedtime eventually. Bedtime stories are something I'm really looking forward to.
