Skeletons
There is new growth in the garden. The snowdrops are in flower, the daffodils are almost there, we have crocuses in the front garden, so what do I do? I take out my macro lens and look for dead things.... sigh!
Actually I noticed the laced leaves as I was outside his morning feeding the birds, and I thought they looked particularly beautiful. Then I saw the fir leaves on the stones, and I had a complete set.
I'm not sure if this trio comes under the umbrella of Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear, I guess they were once floral. Anyway I'll tag them as such.
In other news: I have read that a good thing for a hacking cough is warm drinks. Never one to not heed advice we went to Nero this morning after my blood test for a smoothing pot of peppermint tea. We had some grocery shopping to do, so after unpacking that lot, and the fact that the sun was still shinning, and I had had only one warm drink, if you don't count my breakfast cuppa, we decided to go to the very nice cafe at Bonds in Doddington for a smoothing mug of coffee and a read of the papers.
All in all, not a bad day, especially as we have now found the Fed Cup tennis on the red button.
