Ch-ch-ch-illy C-c-c-ascade

It was very cold today but I went for a walk around the paddock, and along the edge of the stream. I thought this little cascade looked lovely with the snow and ice around it. So with the aid of trees to hold on to, I managed to somehow climb down the bank without slipping. I managed to get back up again OK too!

One pleasure of the snow is seeing the animal and bird tracks in the paddock. There are frequently deer - both Muntjac and Roe, passing across the paddock into the next field via their regular routes. I suspect at present with all the snow they're looking for food, and must spend much time milling around judging by that photo.

It looks as if there'll be more of this white stuff for the next week. That should be fun (NOT).
