Thirsty…

………….……Honey Bee



The bees in the garden have made a ‘B-line’ for the bird bath this summer. It is the first time I have ever seen them use it to this extent - sometimes several dozen bees line the circumference with more hovering in the air waiting their turn.

Perhaps it is just a combination of extra hot sunny days and an increase in bee friendly plants flowering in the garden - a welcome sight as bees are so important in nature for plant fertilisation.
