Gibson’s Mill, Hardcastle Crags

Had a great walk around Hardcadtle Crags today. Wished Sal had been with me though, she would have loved it. Saw two herons and had a robin come to say hello at Gibson’s Mill. Shame the cafe wasn’t open though.

I had hoped to see a kingfisher and some dippers but I was out of luck.

Haven’t heard any news about Sal’s dad yet, I’m just hoping that they haven’t released him from hospital without putting any proper care in place. I’m off down tomorrow, either to pick Sal up and bring her home for the weekend or staying down there to give her some support. It all depends on whether her other brother can come up from Bath to help out. Fingers crossed.
